My 74 yr old Narc Mom continues to reach new lows. Recently she blamed me for my ex bf's abuse, and she also said I should not want to be a mom that I'm too old. I'm running out of hope. A couple regular Psychologists managed to invalidate me. I want to know are trauma trained therapists better?

My 74 year old mom called the police on me for throwing clothes and papers around when I was drunk. My Golden child brother told the cop I have a mental illness. I have a learning challenge. I do not know how much longer I can take her abuse. I am so broken and sad Tell me there's hope.

So I drink in the evening sometimes to numb the abuse. Today I found a library book the Narc just left sitting around saying I have a problem. Which I dont. She then said all my problems stem from drinking. Why would she go get a book like that?

My 74 tr old Narc is using the police threat to scare me. She has abused me for 2 yrs. She blamed my exbf's abuse on me also.. Im scared to cook or be near. Don't know how to protect myself against false threats to the police....dunno what to do
