Hello!

My motivation for being here: I love to learn about the lives of others - how they grew up, what things have made impacts on their lives, what makes them laugh, what inspires them, etc., I love to write (though, have gotten out of the habit), and I’ve always wanted to have a penpal.

I’m a fairly busy person, but I’ve found myself at a point in my life where everyone around me is just as busy, and there seems to be so little time to connect and share our stories. I miss having that with others.

I’m interested in a penpal that is cool with primarily messaging/email; however, snail mail definitely isn’t off the table.

A little about me: I’m very introverted and socially awkward with an unfortunate lack of filter at times and a weird sense of humor. I don’t make close friends easily because of it, but it is so much easier for me to communicate with people via writing. I’m liberal and an atheist some days, agnostic on others (if that’s even possible?); yet, I’ve spent my entire life in the middle of a very conservative and religious region. I have an amazing family and awesome pets, and I’ve worked in various areas of animal care for over 15 years. I also grew up on and currently live on a farm, and I love the quietness and pace of farm life. I enjoy hiking, foraging, reading, writing, painting, various other crafty things, baking, and hanging with my herd of dogs, cats, snakes, rats, chickens, cows, and a 5 year old human.
