Starting youtuber. Tips to grow?

Hello, I am a starting youtuber i have a channel that has 71 subs and 55 videos. I have already found the thing that i want to make videos about. But i cant grow really that well. (i have uploaded videos for 6 months). I have heard that if i upload 5 times a week instead of 1 per week i would grow faster, Is it true?
