Failed writer, back at it
I won't get into my mess of a creative career. Suffice it to say, I work in entertainment, just not in the writer's room.
Long story short, I started writing again at the recommendation of my therapist. Twenty years of chronic pain due to a spinal injury had a deleterious effect on my mental health. Writing became my method to cope, and so I'm back at it.
As a byproduct of putting one word after another, I wound up writing a whole novel. Currently, I'm deep in the rewrite process and thought it was silly to keep doing this alone.
So, here we are. I've got an excerpt for the few who've got the time. And, of course, feedback is appreciated.
Genre: Spec Sci-Fi
Preq knowledge: The story is a deeply woven patchwork of memories. These experts are the recollection of one main character, EqOp.
