Your reasons to play Druid?

I never quite understood the appeal of druids yet I’d like to know it. Why do you personally choose to play Druid? Are there gameplay reasons? Or there are lore pieces/visuals that make you wanna play this class? What about specs - do you play Druid as a whole or you play Druid because of one specific spec?
