Anyone else having trouble writing the beginning of a story to one that already has a plot?

What I’m trying to say is that I’ve skipped the beginning of my story’s lore and just worked on the current events. And now I’m having trouble writing the beginning part without it feeling unsatisfying.

For example, I have a villain character and I already planned out his fate and his role in the story but I haven’t decided his orgin yet
