Trying to find a 80s/90s woodworking show.
This is probably a long shot. Does anyone remember a woodworking TV show that would have aired in the Columbus Ohio area in the late 80s and early 90s, possibly on PBS.
There were two guys. One short and fat with longer dark hair and a mustache. One taller, I remember usually wearing a bandanna on his head, maybe with a Boston accent?
The tone of the show was not as serious as other woodworking shows from the era. it almost felt like Car Talk where to the two guys were clearly good friends but would constantly rip on each other and crack jokes. The appearance/use of the flat carpenters pencil was a running gag I remember.
One specific episode I involved the fat guy getting in to an accident of some sort but his head was kept alive inside of some sort of cabinet?
This show is definitely NOT Home Improvement but it almost feels like the Tool Time show could have been inspired by/ a parody of the show I’m thinking about.
Thanks for your help!
EDIT: Mystery solved! It was The Furniture Guys. Thank you u/1000PiecesPlus for solving a mystery that has been bothering me for years!
