Overnight at Guyot Memorial day weekend

I am planning a Bonds traverse with a small group and want to stay overnight at Guyot on Sunday How early do you have to arrive to get a spot. We don't need anything like a tent platform or space in the shelter. Just a place to pitch a tent. I am also curious, what happens when the site is filled up? Do they turn people away?
