Repayment Advice Welcomed!!

Thanks so much in advance for your input! Succinctly put, my wife and I are both medical students. I'm an MS4 going into Anesthesiology and she is an MS3 planning on Rad/Onc vs Undecided. We will graduate with roughly $110k total in student loans. Half ParentPlus/ Half Sub/Unsub (All federal). (both on great scholarships). I'm wary of all things gov't and all this politicization of student loan forgiveness has made me even more wary of anything SAVE/REPAYE/PSLF etc. My thoughts so far have been to graduate and immediately, consolidate and refinance with the goal of paying it all off during residency. Largely against any form of gov't repayment program bc the 10yr length will inevitably have us ending up paying large monthly payments once we're on the attending salary. By that point it doesnt seem like there will be anything left to forgive and we'd be victim to interest buildup.

Any advice or comments on my proposed plan or alternative strategies to consider would be greatly appreciated!!!
