Loving animals is seeing them as individuals.

You don't have to love every animal, some aren't nice just like some humans aren't nice, and you don't have to love every human, but you can love humanity by acknowledging the individuality of every human.

When we talk about dehumanizing populations of people, we strip away their individuality and force them to be part of a group that can then be treated according to an ideology, or myth about those people.

When we strip away the individuality of animals, we can turn them into commodities that are simply a means to an end. The end result will always be torture and inhumane treatment.

To truly love animals, you have to acknowledge their individuality.

I'm sick of carnists saying that they love animals but turn them into commodities.
