Tree house help

Just wanting to ask if anyone knows a way to protect trees from taking damage? I saw a YouTube video of a base showoff and the guy had, I think, iron gates or something at the bottom of them? I know the one trees in the swamp are indestructible but I've got a really good idea for tree house in my meadows base but don't want to spend hours nitpicking it all just to watch a tree fall due to a troll or a raid and take the house with it😭
