First Interview

Hi everyone! I just had my first panel interview virtually. I will be the first to admit, it was not my best interview. I had better scenarios to questions than the ones I answered, but I hope still I get selected. At the start of the interview, they shared I was at the top of their list based on my resume and skill set. I sent a follow up email, and the hiring manager said I did well in my interview, I was the last interviewee, and they were making a decision tomorrow. He shared I would hear additional correspondence from HR. No references were requested and based off of posts I have read, the manager has reached out directly. With that, I’m not confident I got the job. Am I just overthinking here?
