Silly regulations and why

Anyone got any regulations they think are stupid? I've got a couple...

Why in Christ's name do we have to sleeve/label conductors? If you can't glance at a switch and identify what is going on, you shouldn't be looking at it!

Bathroom regs...May have been suitable in the 50's when you just moved a 3 bar heater into any room you where in. Today, its just stupid. Socket in a bathroom's fine, as long as 3m away. Or if you put inside a cabinet... Perfect sense. Or perhaps literally outside the door within reach of the tub? Yup no worries there.

And another bug of mine...EICRs. There has got to be some better formal training for them. How isn't there more regulations surrounding them?! But instead we have to install SPDs at every domestic property. What a waste of customers money.
