What scenes would you describe as best examples of surrealism in the show?
I’ve just started watching and I’m trying to better understand what surrealism actually means in the context of the show. Surrealism is often described as dreamlike, irrational, or filled with unexpected juxtapositions, but it can be tricky to pinpoint exactly what makes a scene “surreal.”
For those of you who are fans of the show (or of surrealism as a genre), which specific scenes would you say are the best examples of surrealism in Twin Peaks, and why?
I’m curious to hear what you all think and to gain a deeper appreciation for how surrealism is used throughout the show. Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I don't know why people keep downvoting my comments, I'm not trying to be antagonistic, I am trying to learn. I love the show!
