white fibers in dispensary flower

I found long white fibers embedded in the biggest nug of the slice I got at the dispo last week. I took a video pulling the fiber out but since I didn’t show myself physically opening the package the dispensary said I can’t prove my claim, which is fair I guess. To me it’s less about the compensation and more about the fact that this is people’s medicine and this is not smokable. At 12 a g. It smells horrendous as well. Never seen anything like this. Thoughts on how this happened? The brand is Kind Tree.
