Most European in North America?

Hi all!

I was born in the East but raised in the US in predominantly Eastern communities.

I've experienced all cultures from the east (Asia, Southeast, Middle East, etc) but never had a glimpse of other western cultures/countries. I want to but couldn't find the time to visit Europe so I'm hoping to see if North America has something I can at least experience.

I've been to Quebec City and Montreal since I'm from the northeast and think that's probably the best we can get. Unless someone can correct me? I might spend a week there if that's the best I can get.

I've heard of the Midwest in the states that has a high German influence but I have a feeling I can find better in Canada (no offense to the US).
