A long time friend is insisting on naming his son "Drago"

Me and my husband have known our mutual friend (M25) for about 5 or 6 years now. For the entirety of my relationship with him, he has insisted that he would only marry a woman that would agree to his requirement for a name for his first born son: Drago. Despite us begging him not to actually go through with it for years, and despite it having no cultural significance (he simply believes it sounds powerful), he has stuck to that. He recently got married. We went over to hang out, and the name came up in conversation. His wife became mildly upset. It's clear she's uncomfortable with naming her child Drago, but he doesn't leave much room for argument. I can't imagine someone being named Drago having a good/easy life. Edit to add: He is not Slavic. We are in the US. He likes the name because he likes dragons.
