What’s a surprisingly zen activity for your toddler?

There are few toys that will keep my crazy 2y 4mo old son busy for more than a few minutes. Well now we have discovered an activity that keeps him surprisingly relaxed, focused and entertained - peeling mandarins/clementines. I will start by opening the peel at one point, then hand it over. He peels the whole thing, puts all the peel into a container, removes the skin bits, and eats the mandarin slices. He even now says „1 piece mama, 1 piece (his name)“ and offers me a piece. Then asks for more. It’s a win-win-win: keeps him busy, good for his fine motor skills, and vitamins!
