Has anyones kid not enjoyed Yoto or Tonies?

I am thinking of getting a Yoto or Tonies for my 2.5yo, but she is not the type to actually play with toys (she prefers open ended toys or just random stuff around the house and make something up), and she watches some TV so I feel like it would be pointless for her. Has anyone’s kid not played with their Yoto or Tonies?? All I read is amazing reviews and how much the kids love it but I am afraid of spending the money and to never be used.
