Testing the service

Years ago I took advantage of the T-Mobile buyout and switched to them from Verizon. The service was non-existent in the rural areas around me. My brother in law had a heart attack and for over an hour my other brother in law tried calling me and couldn’t get me because I literally had no service. We went back to Verizon because of this. Now I’m ready to finally ditch the V and last night I downloaded the T-Mobile Life app and am trying out the data connection for 3 months by splitting my eSIM with T-Mobile covering the data and V covering the cell and text. Today I did a comparison while I was out working and it seemed to be neck and neck. Some areas better for both but never lost connection on either. My question is…is the cell service for T-Mobile now as good as the data connection I’m showing? Only got LTE twice. The rest of the time was 5G or 5GUW. I had SiriusXM playing all day and never lost connection. My home is south Alabama but I travel regularly for work between Alabama Georgia and Florida. Just curious if anyone else tried out the service before committing to it and noticed any differences…
