How is the T490 today?

Hey!!

I found on the marketplace the T490 for around 350 USD

it has 40 GB of ram, 512 SSD, and I7-8565U.

I'm an engineering student but also do some photography and video editing on the side and would consider myself a heavy user. and I wanna get a computer strong enough with a great color accuracy screen that is still compact. Is it too old by today's standards? I thought of getting this and upgrading the storage.

what do You guys think?

*I understood there are a couple of screen versions of this laptop, the seller is not sure, how can I make him check which one he has?

EDIT: some of you say this is pricey however I don't find laptops with the price near it and shipping costs me another 100 USD more or less
