”Can’t connect to this network” problem

I havent been able to connect to the wifi in 3 days now i have tried many things like restart the router, writing commands like ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew, netsh winsock reset. I tried to uninstall a network adapter in the device manager, and i tried to update the driver aswell, none of it helped. The wifi works fine when i use my iphone but not on my laptop. When i troubleshoot the wifi i get this: A network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken. (Detected) Problem with wireless adapter or access point. (Fixed) But it still doesnt work. When i run the troubleshooter again i get the same messages. I can connect to my iphone’s data through internet sharing but not to this wifi? What is wrong with my laptop? Please i need help because i havent been able to watch my uni classes. I appreciate all the help i can get.
