Does the plot of zenkaiger gets better?

I only watched the first 16 episodes, and at that point the only interesting thing that I liked was twokaizer. I stopped and skipped to donbrothers but, I read on a Reddit post that zenkaizer is one of the strongest rangers. Does the show gets any better after that point? Last episode I remember they were fighting a villain that had a gear that made everything go back in time and made everyone nostalgic about how times were better before.
