People praising ANDOR as better than the OT

This is very weird to me. Obviously ANDOR is very different from the OT. But there are people who say it's finally what they wanted from Star Wars all the time. A slow, dark, very grounded story.

A story that is completely different from George Lucas' Star Wars.

If you want Star Wars to be stripped off everything that makes it what it is, what is Star Wars about it anymore?

Even if Star Wars is just a setting to you, a big space playground, if you get rid of the known planets, aliens, characters and the force, what is left of that?

If it wasn't for an occasional stormtrooper or the imperial emblem, Andor would be just another scifi show like Foundation or the Expanse. No matter how good it is, but it's not Star Wars to me.
