Does anyone know what fabric this is?

So DRUK S1 came on by itself on iPlayer earlier and when I saw Viv’s outfit I spent a good 25 minutes staring at it trying to work out what fabric this is.

It’s too structured and reflective be a foiled spandex, and it lacks the chromatic shift to be glass silk. It’s not smooth enough to be vinyl and it’s whilst it has an almost cellophane like quality to it, it’s fabric not plastic.

Any sewing queens got an idea?
