I honestly think that alienating men and especially young men was the biggest mistake the Dems made
I think that the anti-male rhetoric of the modern Dems is widely exaggerated. However, even the mere PERCEPTION that they're associated with misandrists or want to attack masculinity is enough to cause damage.
Like it or not a substantial amount of women are still followers even in 2025. You can see it with how married women often vote the way their husbands do. The Dems believed they didn't need white men and that they could win on a coalition of women and minorities. This is clearly not the case.
They should have shut down HARD any anti-male rhetoric. Now it's too late. One thing I agree with the progressives is that masculinity is fragile. Even the slightest attack on masculinity is sadly enough to alienate a lot of men. Voting Dem is now associated with being effeminate and gay.
Moreover, men, especially the younger ones, provide a certain dynamic that can't be easily replicated imo. It's hard to explain but I think men have their own unique way of influencing culture. Look at how 1ncel memes and phrases have become mainstream for example. How many know that wojacks were started by incel-type people? The Dems have just lost this dynamic.
