Are men generally more anti-tech than women?
Speaking from my observations as a woman… most women I know (normal and autistic) are addicted or nearly addicted to social media. Even athletic outgoing women who go outside seem to have no desire to distance themselves from screens.
I can’t think of a single girl I know off the top of my head that doesn’t have instagram. I feel like this isn’t the case for men, I can easily name 5 guys who are completely analog or just “offline.” I went to a lecture today with ~100 people and I noticed that 1 other woman was taking notes with pen and paper instead of via laptop/iPad but probably 10 men were, and the class was pretty evenly split in terms of gender.
Is this an actual thing? Are men just more likely to do this for attention? Not trying to do a gender war post but I want to know the psychology behind this. What is the rs consensus?
