So how many people in this sub reddit are clean and sober?

Or is everyone just here to bash AA?

What worked for you that wasn't AA to maintain long term sobriety where you not only stopped using but you found yourself again? Where you are generally at peace with life and happy and feel no cravings or desire to use drugs (including alcohol it's a drug too) any longer?

Has anyone had any success with SMART recovery?

CBT therapy?

And how bad was your addiction before you stopped and successfully turned things around?

Edit: spelling errors and elaboration

Edit: I can see reading my original post that I definitely have some preconceptions to let go of. I'm very much enjoying all the feedback and different perspectives. Almond mom made me laugh, I don't even want to know what that is.
