SMC battery - 10awg to 13awg on ESC OK?

I've searched and could not quite find a similar concern, but I wanted to know if it is OK to run my 10g battery wire through xt90 connectors to 13g wire on ESC? ESC is Castle Copperhead and has 13g from the factory.

Does this "funneling down" for a lack of better description from 10g to 13g wire from battery to the ESC raise any concern? Batteries I wish to run are 2s and 3s, both 120c on 10g leads (SMC brand).
