Cannot find this song

I don't have a lot to go off of but there's a song I used to LOVE and I cannot for the life of me find it. Here's what I remember:

Pop punk band, male lead singer, I thought it was Every Avenue but I can't find anything by them so the band probably has the same vibe as EA, I was listening to it probably in around 2008-2010, and the only only lyric I can remember is "I'll be there, yeah I'll be there for you". Some of the lyrics had something about having issues with her father? Or something?

It's not a lot to go off of, I know, I'm so sorry, but I'm going crazy lol.
