Should I move to Downtown Plano

In my 40s, divorced, happily single, moving from the Midwest to Dallas area. Want a smaller town downtown with walk ability. Downtown Dallas or uptown not my scene anymore. Is downtown Plano gonna get boring real quick? Any other suggestions with walkability. WFH so driving to work is not an issue.
