Will my healed vertical labret piercing close?

I have had my vertical labret for over 4 years now. I'm wondering if you think it will close if I keep it out for days at a time?

Has anyone who used to have a vertical labret still able to put jewelry in it after months/years of having it out?

I love having it and it healed perfectly and never gave me any trouble, I'd just like to keep it out from time to time assuming I could do it without losing it.
