Power supply question…

Novice here with maybe a terrible idea… but I’m gonna ask anyway.

So I’ve been trying to understand isolated power supplies and have looked at a few that you can add additional units to if your board grows. For example a Voodoo Labs 2Plus then later you could add an X4.

My question is couldn’t you run almost anything in tandem like that just by using a single wall plug to dual IEC plugs pigtail, then power each individual power supply with its own IEC plug?

For Example: A standard 120v wall socket can feed 15amps or 15,000ma. 2x Voodoo Labs ISO5’s (800ma max draw each) powered by a single wall plug that spits into 2 IEC plugs.

Is there any harm or potential issues in doing it this way?
