Did the sense of speed/camera change?

I don’t play too too often and just got back on after a couple weeks maybe after they dropped the 30th anniversary pack, and it feels like the camera stretches more, and the cars feel faster? Am I just telling myself that or have they actually improved this? Keep in mind I’ve only been off for a couple weeks or so but it feels completely different
