Broken inner visor

As you can see the piece that holds the inner visor is (I think) broken on one side. It makes the visor get stuck on one side so it doesn’t open nor close with the switch on the side of the helmet. Do I just rip out all the glued foams inside the helmet or is there another way to fix it?
