200g pork daily - unhealthy/dangerous ?
Hello, i have a question. Im active person, working out, doing a lot of sports. I eat 4-5 meals a day. For meat, i eat daily 300g (cooked weight) of chicken, which can be around 400g of raw chicken meat. I rarely have some beef, fish or just any other type of meat. I have pretty balanced diet, but my meat is mostly only chicken, because its lean. I want to incorporate some other meat and balance it little to so i dont eat daily so much chicken. Beef is pretty expensive, at least in my country, but pork is pretty cheap. The thing is, i red on internet many things about pork, like its unhealthy, and sometimes even dangerous (like its causing some types of cancer, pigs are usually fed my toxic food and toxicity accumulates in pigs fat etc.). Honestly i dont know if i should believe it or not, i think pork is not that healthy as chicken, but if i have healthy rest of the diet, then it should not be problem (that is my opinion).
But still, i want to ask, do you think that divide it into 150g of chicken and 150g of pork daily instead of 300g chicken (all cooked weights, so around 200g raw each) can be dangerous ? Im buying leaner parts of pork (like loin), so i dont actually have that much fat from it. Thanks for opinions !
