STX Gift help. Draft or set?

I want to buy my wife a box for Christmas, we don't really draft but I'm seeing that draft boosters end up being the better value with more cards, and more Uncommons and rares on average..is this true? Can anyone confirm? I don't buy boxes often so I could use the help. Thanks!
