Chrome tab deletion after restarting laptop.
I love having many tabs open, it slows down my macbook a bit I know but it'll live. One day, it did not. Earlier today when my window that had over 20 tabs stopped loading new ones when it usually can I just restarted my laptop. Easy peasy. What comes up is chrome asking which profile I'd like to open, you click the one and it asks if you want to restore tabs. Easy right?
No. Apparently not because I'm an idiot. I opened google for whatever reason and that opened my profile automatically, without asking if I wanted to restore tabs. I usually have two profiles open, it restored the tabs on the other profile fine, whatever. I don't care about that. So I realised my mistake and restarted my laptop, hoping for a second go. Negative. It restored the tabs that I had just opened. All my tabs. Gone.
No worries, I looked for session backups, last session, last tabs, I looked everywhere in my finder, nothing. And yes, I looked in my history for recently closed but theres nothing. I don't think the tabs where closed but they're nowhere. I'm starting to think they're gone forever maybe?
