Help!! Newly sensitive and painful scalp!

I tried to post this on r/wavyhair first but I guess my karma score is too low. I just don't use reddit that often. They also said not to ask about anything that could be construed as asking for medical advice. This isn't medical, this is new with my new routine, so it has to be something I'm doing wrong. If something doesn't make sense because I'm talking in lingo I'm sorry and I'll try to explain. I also posted it on r/femalehairadvice, awaiting moderate approval, I just want someone to help me.

I've never had a particularly sensitive scalp, but now it's very sensitive to the point that it hurts. I have long hair (I part it in the center and from the center part to the bottom it's 2ft long), it's moderate thickness and it's pretty dense, I'm also pretty sure it's low porosity. I think it's 2A or maybe 2B. My hair is either damaged or it's new growth, I'm really not sure but I have a ton of flyaways and have for a few years now. I used to use the pureology hydrate shampoo/conditioner or garnier fructis (depending on my budget at the time), wash every other day, and brush straight. I recently started several new products doing this so I have no idea what is causing this. The area around my part is very sensitive, the sides of my scalp are more sensitive than they were but less than the area around my part, the back is slightly more sensitive, and I even spotted a little bit of blood in one spot at the front of my head by the part (may have come from snagging it with a comb?? that's the least bad thing I can think would cause it). I noticed the sensitivity today scratching my scalp, which never used to hurt but now does, and last week my boyfriend commented that it looked a little pinker than normal. I still don't see it, but that may be relevant.

I started using a scalp massager a little over 2 months ago. Around 3 weeks ago I started treating it like it was wavy. I've gradually added more products so I'll say everything I do first and then roughly when I started doing it. This also varies pretty much every time, I'm still trying things to see how they work so there's usually something a little different.

I wash my hair once every 3-4 days. I use warm/hot water (which I have always done) and start with the Not Your Mother's Tahitian Gardenia shampoo with the scalp massager all over my scalp, I feel like it makes my hair squeaky clean which I don't love, but no product is perfect. Then I put the Not Your Mother's Tahitian Gardenia conditioner on my mids and ends and comb it. I usually end up adding more while I'm combing it. This is really the only time that I comb it, so I try my best to be gentle but it's normally pretty badly tangled and I end up pulling at times (which I also did with my hair brush when I used to brush my hair every day, but maybe this is a harder pull?). Sometimes I end up combing through with my fingers while it's dry anyway if I can feel that there's a tangle, but I try not to. I comb it right side up to detangle at first, then I roll my head over and turn all the way upside down (so my hair is all towards the floor, and my eyes are looking at my knees, not at the ground, and my hair isn't sitting on the back of my head) and comb it through again. I wash it out and fill up a bowl with water, then I spray my mids and ends with the Hairitage light as a feather leave in conditioner and the cake curl cream and comb through, then start dunking and scrunching. I do that like 5-6 times. Then I microplop my hair with a microfiber towel, put the NYM curl talk mousse on with praying hands (1-1.5 palmfuls per half of hair), scrunch it again once or twice, and plop it in the microfiber towel for about 10 minutes. I take it out and start diffusing. I never used to blow dry my hair but it takes so long to air dry and I'm not supposed to touch it while it's drying, but it gets in the way all the time so it's pretty much impossible not to touch it a lot if I air dry it. I start diffusing mostly upside down and hover diffusing using high speed medium heat, then when I feel like the cast is forming, I roll my hair around to be upright and I start pixie diffusing, scooping it up with the hair dryer off and pushing it against my scalp and use high speed cold for 20-60 seconds. I turn off the hair dryer and let my hair down, then repeat several times. I use that/some hover diffusing until it's pretty darn dry, then wait a while and scrunch again to break the cast. In between I sleep with a satin bonnet on and it usually stays on my head, but I have a satin pillowcase too. Sometimes I refresh by getting my hands wet with water, doing praying hands, then doing the same thing but with mousse, scrunch, and diffuse. I don't love that because it feels kind of sticky so I don't think I'm going to do that again.

First I got the Not Your Mother's Tahitian Gardenia shampoo and conditioner and their curl talk mousse, I've been using those since the beginning (except the clarifying wash). Then I got the diffuser about 1-2 washes in. I started using the leave in about the same time. The first time I used the cake curl cream was yesterday (last wash).

A pretty new alteration (last 1-2 washes) is that I tried using medium heat for like 5 seconds during each time I have my hair up in the pixie diffused position (about 10 seconds in so I can cool it down after that and before I let it down) and then making sure that I blow it on cold for at least 20 seconds after that.

Thank you in advance for any insight/ideas about how to help my scalp.
