Why exactly did Scar turn on Mufasa?

I was watching Mufasa: The Lion King yesterday at the theater. Unfortunately, the power went out (I think right before they got to the ice mountain). When it came back on, Taka and Mufasa were not very happy with each other. If anyone could fill me in, what was the conflict? Thank you!
