Newbie here. Protein targets and Ketone testing

Hi 👋🏽, I'm new to trying a ketogenic diet, spurred on after a family member mentioned how great it was for regulating energy levels, but I'm also keen on trimming a few kilos for sport performance. As I'm getting older, these days I seem to easily put on weight (I'm +7kg from 2yrs ago), and I want to nip it in the bud.

I have been using Cronometer app, and it suggests a target of 1.5g of protein per kg of lean body mass.

I estimate my body fat% is ~20%, which would give me lean mass of 65.6kg. So protein target would be 65.6*1.5 = 98.4 g protein per day. Does these seem reasonable?

Is there any benefit to buying Ketone test strips? I saw some on Amazon for $30. Are they worth it, or a waste of money?
