Applying for a Marriage (Short Stay Visa)

My partner is an EU citizen. We are planning to marry in Ireland next year. I have already submitted a visa application and sent all necessary documents along with proof of relationship. I also have strong ties in my home country as short stay visa requires me to leave after 90 days.

We have only met once in person. I’m worried this might be a reason for refusal. Anyone who tried applying marriage visa? What’s your experience?
