Heading to Spiti. Here's Our Dilemma!

Hello fellow travellers,

My husband and I are gearing up for a trip to Spiti starting June 12th-22st. But we’re a bit stuck on the logistics and could really use some expert advice!

We're flying in from Mumbai to Chandigarh on the evening of June 11th. Initially, we were all set to rent a 4x4 and DIY our Spiti adventure. But then the safety alarms started ringing. I'm still a newbie behind the wheel, and the thought of my husband taking all the driving burden on his lonesome through Spiti's challenging terrain has us concerned. Adding to that are the risks of AMS, and high altitudes. While my husband’s a seasoned driver, we still want to play it safe. Can any seasoned travelers out there recommend good and cost efficient travel companies offering private tours to Spiti? Or should we go ahead and take the risk? What safety tips should we keep in mind for our Spiti trip?
