Why don't you discuss your salary and hikes with your coworkers?

Question same as above.

Everyone working in a job, any field, should discuss there salaries and hikes with their coworkers. Not in code words, but in actual numbers.

We not discussing hikes and salaries only benefits the owners of company, and they underpay most of us.

The manager that says we are a team and a family, and is very sweet and polite, his aim is not to improve your life or career, but only keep employees at minimum wage possible.

Managers/Directors getting 20% percent hike on a 50+ lac fixed pay, and us employees getting barely 10% on 8 lac fixed pay is NOT fair.

Capitalism is shit, and we need to fight it.

And as far as I know there is no law against discussing salaries and yearly hikes, even if your manager tells you that it is confidential stuff. [Tell me if there is, with source article]

You should discuss it, and use it as a weapon in negotiation, not mentioning other's raise, but saying that you deserve this much hike. And if you don't get it, you know its time to leave the company.
