Seeing business*brag* about being open during the storm seems mad disrespectful to me ..
Like we all got that Danger to Life warning, I've been cancelling my in-person meetings, all the schools and universities and nurseries are closed, my hair dresser cancelled my appointment and I say future fitness Glasgow bragging on Instagram about "being open to those who are brave enough to weather the storm".
First of all ..that is so reckless to encourage people to go out in danger to life weather.
Second of all it's not just you that you are putting at risk when you recklessly go against advice: it's all the emergency workers and people who need to be able to help people in actual emergencies/accidents who are putting their lives at risk to save your ass, when you could have avoided that entirely by staying in.
It's literally 1 day. And I find it mad disrespectful for any business that made their staff come into work tomorrow.
It's actually causing like a visceral reaction in me. I found out my Tesco is making their staff come in and I'm tempted to boycott over it (and I've been going to Lidl more anyway, but fully stop shopping at tesco).
I know the weather could change and may not end up being that bad but the fact we all got the mad alarm and the red danger to life message was broadcast... I'm shocked.
