Fujifilm X-M5 turning off then on immediately?

New user to Fujifilm - I just picked up the X-M5 and am testing it for live streaming. I bought a dummy battery for it and hooked up an HDMI to a capture card to output the video. I have the auto-turn-off set to OFF and auto turn off temp set to high, but I've noticed that the camera will turn off and on again constantly.

I've turned it on airplane mode, lowered the resolution to 1080p60fps, and also attempted just leaving the camera on without any HDMI cable to see how long it lasts and it's always about a minute or less. Also went back to testing the normal battery in this case and it's the same behavior. I also don't get any temp warning icon or anything like that it's just a quick reboot.

The back of the camera is warm to the touch - I don't have the fant attachment but the thermals can't really be that bad on this thing when it's just turned on and not doing anything right? Isn't it rated for like 20 minutes recording 6k? And it won't even stay on in idle for 2 minutes? I'm just wondering if there's anything I might have overlooked being a new user to this system, like some setting - or if it's something silly like needing a memory card plugged in even if you aren't going to be recording in camera.

Hoping anyone who shoots Fuji with Atomos's or use for live streaming etc. might have run into something like this before and have some info. Thanks very much for any insight!

Edit: Issue not solved but I might be getting closer?

There is additional setting on Fujifilm cameras called Media Record settings which you choose between SD card and HDMI and you pick your codecs etc. You need to set this to HDMI

And then you also need to press the shutter button (not the rec button) in movie mode to sort of..."fake record" to the HDMI output.

I got a longer recording time this way I belive but maybe this was just due to having a break in between sessions and the camera cooled down a bit. The search continues...

Edit 2: Doesn't matter the power source or if I'm in idle or physically recording - the longest I've been able to record is a 4min 1080p60 clip to SD card before the camera reboots. Think this is looking like a return.

Edit 3: Big shout out to u/OK_Cabinet_6395 - the issue lied in the kit lens which comes with the X-M5. It had a bug that caused this issue where the lens itself would reinitialize - which would black out the camera and cause the lens to retract and extend back out - similar to a reboot. There is a firmware update on the Fuji website which allowed me to update it on the lens and so far I have not had this issue since.

I basically got this camera Day 1 - and it seems like the camera has been hard to get ahold of and I'm guessing this is why - so I'm assuming once the cameras are back in stock the lenses included in them will have the latest firmware pre-loaded so other won't have this issue. But in case you do this is what I'd recommend
