GTNH - Nether Only Challenge Run Series
Hello, I am Ducked, a GTNH player who has achieved gate twice, once on Garden of Grind, and once in a normal run. I have decided to do a third challenge... The Nether Only run.
To make things EVEN harder, I have self-imposed another challenge... By only using cactus water.
Years ago, a quest was added hinting at a special cactus cape rewards for the first player to beat GTNH using only cactus water. It is time for someone to try obtain it >:).
I thought I would post here to gain some more traction on the run as I have decided to stream, record and edit it into videos, I may not be the best editor just yet, but progressively you will see me get better and better as the episodes go on as I learn (plz dont judge my inconsistent thumbnails, working on them) :).
The routing has been quite fun so far, - 20 hours to obtain water - bbf skip being used, and I think it may spark interest into a lot of you modded fans even if you arent the familiar with GTNH, as it is quite a unique experience to unintentionally follow progression that was not designed forcing some increasingly interesting strategies (such as mega blast furnace in HV to smelt titanium since I dont have access to asbestos :)).
I will be doing up flow charts of the most current optimal routing strategies, that we have discovered, for each relevant tier to document the process and archive the relevant discussion on my discord, so others can easily follow along / have a go :).
