Does anyone actually use an Exploraconda?
So I just got back from a little jaunt in the black to participate in Colonia Phase 4, and treated myself to my first Anaconda with my earnings. Outfitted with A-rated FSD and power plant, D-rated everything else.
Man what a bitch this thing is to fly. Terrible to steer in supercruise, I can't even turn fast enough to orbit a star at full throttle. And the cockpit is just awful for exploring, I think my field of view is like 1/8 of what I had in the AspX solid-angle-wise.
So my question is, does anyone actually go on month-long trips into the black with this thing, or is it just a meme? If you do actually take this giant lug out what is your loadout?
Edit: OK, looks like the allure is you get 70+ ly and all the goodies (2 AFMUs, fighter bay, mining equipment, pick your poison). But it requires heavy engineering. I can't seem to get a build above 65 ly with the only engineered module being the FSD. I think I'm gonna stick with my 62 ly AspX for now, but who knows, maybe I'll regret it when I get stuck out in the black. Thanks for all the feedback commanders o7
