Make a move

So I’m currently working in Lubbock Tx as a journeyman. I have been in this trade for 20+ years now. Iv done everything from residential(service and new construction), large/small commercial, along with some industrial and hospitals. Some would say that’s the beauty of living in this town is we get to do it all. But i want better, not only for me but for my family. The wages in this area suck, iv been stuck at $28 for the past 4 years and when i call around no one will match or pay more. Not even the local union is any better.

I want to move to either Dallas area or the San Antonio area. I know it’s a big leap and with kids it could be a very hard and difficult move for them.

Do yall think moving would be something we should look into this coming year. Has anyone in her gone through this situation before?
