Sun arc questions

I finished the game and I am going for all the endings (hopefully cause kcd2 is coming soon) I am going for the true sun ending (Wu) if I would want to get the regular ending would I have to go all the way back to sun Jian or can I start at sun ce (I have beaten it via liu Bei ending THE TRUE ENDING GUAN YU AND ZHANG FEI SUPREMACY)
